To earn a Microsoft Gold competency partners must successfully demonstrate domain expertise. Layer2 development and consulting staff took a number of exams culminating in Microsoft certifications. Layer2 also had to provide a number of customer references.
It was not the first time Layer2 was awarded a Gold Microsoft competency. This latest competency emphasizes the company’s continued dedication to providing tier-one SharePoint and Office 365 solutions to Microsoft customers both locally and worldwide. Layer2 has also reached the Silver competency levels in Hosting, Volume Licensing, Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions, and as a Midmarket Solutions Provider.

Layer2 has launched a cost-free partner program to better support Layer2 resellers and local implementation partners. Registered partners receive up to 30% commission for each sale. Additionally partners can receive qualified leads via partner web pages, free NFR licenses for internal use, and priority support to jump-start their customer projects using Layer2 products.
