Highrise and SharePoint Data Integration
Highrise data can be integrated with SharePoint lists using the Layer2 Business Data List Connector. Please take a look here for more supported systems and applications.
Highrise is a CRM Software tool for data integration that helps user to stay organized. With this tool you can store and share contact information with team members, import contact details from Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel or create and track tasks. To integrate Highrise and SharePoint the Layer2 Business Data List Connector can be configured as described below. In case you are looking for Online data integration, you will find the right tool here.
To retrieve Highrise data, the data source entity must be configured as follows in the Layer2 Business List Data Connector:

Highrise Specific Configuration Settings
Please note the following specific settings.
- Select the Layer2 Data Provider for XML to connect. The provider is part of the Layer2 ADO.NET provider package and should be already installed. You will find a Layer2 Data Provider for XML specification here.
- You can use a connection string like this to
connect:
url=https://<mycompany>.highrisehq.com/deals; Authentication=Windows; User=<AccessToken>; Password=x - Highrise uses HTTP Basic authentication, so please use the "Windows" authentication method.
- The User parameter is your unique API access token, which you can find on the "My Info" screen in the Highrise UI (click the "Reveal authentication token for feeds/API" link).
- The Password parameter uses a dummy value (set as "x" in the example above). The token acts as the username and password, but you still have to define something for the password field (don't leave it blank).
- You can make use of Xpath to query your data as supported by the data provider and source system. You can map your data fields to specific external fields in the Business Data List Connector. Please take care about data types (simple type conversions are supported). See the Highrise API reference for what data is available.
- Please enter an appropriate primary key (column with unique values - "deal_Id" in this example), depending on query (see data preview for this).
- The data provider supports read-only, no write-back support to the Highrise XML data source.
- No programming required for setup a connection and sync.
- No need to open your local network for access from outside.
Highrise Data Integration Known Issues
- Write-back is not supported by the XML data provider.
