if a workflow is activated in external data change via BDLC timer service (background-update) it don´t log 'unexpected' severity anymore.

BDLC 2013 doesn't run into the "unspecified error" anymore when connecting to Excel or Access via OleDB ACE Provider. Please note that the "Claims to Windows Token Service" has to be enabled for that at SharePoint.

BDLC 2010 on claims environments is now able to handle anonymous context usage by impersonating to windows tokens.

If the "Claims to Windows Token Service" is needed but disabled on SharePoint, the BDLC displays an error message with instructions to enable that service.

BDLC now handles different collations of numbers properly.
